About SAVVM

Shabari Adivasi Vitta Va Vikas Mahamandal (SAVVM) is a government undertaking of Maharashtra constituted under the Tribal Development Department, Government of Maharashtra. It serves as the nodal and channelising agency for disbursing concessional loans to Scheduled Tribe (ST) beneficiaries under the National Scheduled Tribes Finance and Development Corporation (NSTFDC), Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India.

NSTFDC provides term loans at subsidised interest rates to state channelising agencies, which in turn on-lend to eligible ST beneficiaries for income-generating activities. SAVVM fulfils this role in Maharashtra, ensuring last-mile delivery of credit to tribal households across all 12 tribal districts.

With an authorised share capital of ₹200 crore and a network of 12 branch offices, the Mahamandal has served over 31,111 beneficiaries through 38+ loan schemes spanning agriculture, horticulture, small business, transport, education, and housing.
