Under the Right to Information Act, 2005, any citizen of India may seek information from a public authority. Shabari Adivasi Vitta Va Vikas Mahamandal is a public authority under the Act and is committed to transparency and accountability.

How to File an RTI Request

Submit your RTI application in writing (English, Hindi, or Marathi) to the Central Public Information Officer (CPIO) of Shabari Mahamandal, along with the prescribed fee.

  2. Clearly describe the information sought. Be specific — each question as a separate point.
  3. Attach proof of fee payment (IPO, DD, or cash receipt).
  4. Include your name, address, and contact details. No reason is required.

First Appellate Authority (FAA)

If dissatisfied with the CPIO's response (or no response within 30 days), file a First Appeal within 30 days of the decision. The FAA is located at the Head Office, Nashik, Maharashtra — 422001. FAA must decide within 30 days(extendable to 45 days).

Online RTI Filing

Citizens can also file RTI requests online through the Central RTI Portal operated by the Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India.

Note: Online payment of ₹10 fee is accepted via the portal. BPL applicants should submit their request through the offline route with supporting documentation.
